I’m Samiksha, a psychotherapist offering both online and in-person therapy in Kolkata.
I see therapy as a microcosm of the outside world, where the patterns that emerge in our sessions often mirror the ones in everyday life. This is why I take a systemic approach, helping you recognize these broader relational dynamics in a way that fosters awareness and meaningful change. My work is eclectic and evidence-based, but at its core, therapy with me is built on hope, collaboration, and a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in empathy and trust.
My goal is to meet you where you are and offer tools that support your growth in a way that feels sustainable and meaningful. You can expect our work together to include identifying and expressing emotions, building self-compassion, recognizing patterns, and creating a sense of balance and self-awareness, all at a pace that feels right for you.
Mental health doesn’t exist in isolation—it’s shaped by our identities, relationships, and the world around us. That’s why intersectionality is central to my practice. I integrate trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centered approaches, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), among other approaches. Most importantly, my priority is to create a non-judgmental space where you can show up as you are, inviting vulnerability in a way that allows for real-time healing.
If you’re considering therapy, feel free to reach out—I’d love to connect and see if we’re a good fit. With over 1200 hours of one-on-one therapy experience, I’ve worked with individuals from all walks of life, helping them navigate the challenges that come with being human.
I offer therapy for adults, young adults, and couples (ages 16-50), supporting them through challenges including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, perfectionism, body image concerns, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief, chronic pain, attachment patterns, family estrangement, and self-discovery.
